Maria Refugio Salazar, age 77, passed away at Parkview Community Hospital in Riverside, California on Monday, February 27, 2012. She was born in Jalisco, Mexico, but has lived in Riverside for the past 8 years. She was a homemaker for 62 years and took great care of her family. She is survived by her loving husband; Jose G. Salazar, Sr., her children; Ofelia Salazar, Reymundo (Maria) Salazar, Juanita (Margaro) Salazar, Jose G. (Norma) Salazar, Jr., Jose A. (Teresa) Salazar, Lety (Jesus) Salazar, Gustavo (Alba) Salazar, Rosalva (Manolo) Salazar, and Gabriela (Claudio) Salazar, her siblings; Gonzalo, Ignacio, Elvira, Carlos, Concepcion, Merced, Everardo, and Abigail, 28 Grandchildren, 16 Great Grandchildren, and a Host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, Extended Family and Friends. Funeral Services will be held at Pierce Brothers Crestlawn Memorial Chapel on Monday, March 5, 2012 with Visitation from 10:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. and Funeral Service at 1:00 P.M. Interment will follow at Pierce Brothers Crestlawn Memorial Park.
