MARIE N. HOFFMAN Our loving wife, mother, grandmother, great- grandmother, great-great-grand-mother entered into heaven on New Year's Day 2012. Marie is survived by her loving husband, Ralph L. Hoffman, DDS, children Reyes, Reynaldo (Carolina), Reyna, Robert (Leslie) and Rebecca (Ernie). Marie was born on July 27, 1923, lived in San Diego and relocated to Riverside with her husband Ralph and had been a resident of Riverside since 1971. Marie worked many years side by side with Ralph at his Inland dental practices and spent many weekends of her own time as a member of the Flying Samaritans. Marie would spend many weekends in her native Baja California assisting the doctors, dentists, and medical professionals as they administered to the residents visiting the remote clinics established by the Flying Samaritans in Baja California. Marie and Ralph were avid bird watchers and spent weekends and their free time observing the birds in California and Mexico. Her owl collection included hundreds of owl figurines from all over the world and provided a challenge to all who loved her to find an owl that she did not already own. Her grandchildren provided her with much joy and she was always surrounded by their love.
