Matthew Lee Hallberg

The Lord blessed the world with Matthew “Matt” Lee Hallberg at Huntington Memorial Hospital, Pasadena, CA. He was always surprising us with his antics and playful personality growing up in Fontana. Army life took Matthew from basic training in Artillary at Ft. Sill, OK, to Germany, two tours of Iraq, and finished as a Sgt. E-5 at Ft. Stewart, GA.

Matthew absolutely adored his three children. He studied and became a Surgical Tehnician and mentioned moving up to be a Surgical Nurse.

Survivors are his wife Katherine, sons Jacen and Zachary, daughter Allison, sister and brother-in-law Stephani and Robert Russell, parents Robert and Pamela (Wingert) Hallberg, Grandmother Dolores Wingert, and many cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Matthew was preceded in death by a brother, Aunt Dawn Wingert, Aunt Anita Hallberg, Grandpa James Wingert, and Grandparents Donald and Sally Hallberg.
