Maybelle Olive Gielish, age 93, passed away peacefully at home in Apple Valley, CA with her family by her side. She was born in Redondo Beach, CA on May 14, 1922 but has been a resident of Apple Valley for the past 37 years. Maybelle was a homemaker who lovingly cared for her family for most of her life. She enjoyed quilting, canning, and tending to her gardens. She won many ribbons at the county fair for her canning and quilting. She is survived by her children; George Gielish, William (Dawn Hawkins) Gielish, Etta (Norman) Hart, and Susie Gielish, her son-in-law, Ron Millet, 13 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick Gielish and her daughter, Betty Millet. She will be dearly missed by all.
