Patricia was the most cherished daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother that any family could ask for. She will be greatly missed as she was loved so very deeply. Her greatest joy in life was her family. The Lord blessed her with a wonderful mother and father, brother, husband, two daughters, two grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She was always young at heart and loved life. Her heart overflowed with generosity towards those she loved. She never tired of treating her family to trips to Disneyland, Knotts Berry Farm, Solvang and many more fun filled places. She was known as Gigi to her great grandchildren and they loved every moment spent with her. She found such joy in lavishing her family with love.
She lived and traveled the world as an Air Force wife living in England, Germany, Hawaii, Canada, and many other states in the US. As she traveled her heart was opened to the love of antiquing. Particularly in the area of antique dolls. She fell in love with the history and beauty of these dolls as she traveled with her husband of 63 years. This love for antiquing led to her opening a little antique shop and even serving as a Doll club President for many years.
For all the joy she found in life it was well known that her greatest passion was for the Lord Jesus Christ. She loved Jesus since she was a little child and attended the Grove Community Church. She also went to bible study at BSF International for many years and made many sisters in Christ there. She loved to study God's word and share all that she learned with others.
True to her character she left us with one last precious gift, her final words. As she lay in her husband's arms, she said, “The Lord is taking me”. Knowing that the Lord himself ushered her from this life into her heavenly home is the greatest comfort we have. She was our special angel and will be greatly missed.
