

Patricia Ann Stockman, age eighty five, passed away on August 20, 2012 in Riverside, California. She was born Patricia Ann Cushion in New Castle, Pennsylvania on June 2, 1927. Patricia graduated from New Castle High in 1945 and worked as an administrative manager for an environmental products company for eighteen years. She married Donald Joseph Stockman on August 29, 1953 and they had three children.
Patricia was a past president of the VFW Ladies of Auxiliary and a devout catholic. She was an active member at St. Christopher Catholic Church in West Covina, CA and at St. Mel Catholic Church in Norco, CA. Patricia’s favorite past-time was playing cards and gambling. She loved the dollar slot machines and trips to Las Vegas. Friends and family remember how much she loved playing crazy gin and poker on Friday nights. Blazing 7’s was her favorite slot machine. Another favorite of hers was NASCAR, but only when her driver, Jeff Gordon, was winning.
Patricia loved spending time with her family, especially her great-grand children who nick named her YaYa. Her children and grand children remember how much she loved to decorate for Christmas and go overboard on gift giving. She was known for making dozens of cookies for the holiday’s and passing them out to friends and family. Patricia made the best peanut butter balls and chex-mix. Her grandchildren remember that she always had plenty of chocolates, which were her favorite, at her house for them to eat.
Patricia is survived by her children Gary Stockman, Robert Stockman and Kimberly Siana. She leaves behind seven grand children and six great-grand children. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. A visitation will be held on Monday, August 27, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Pierce Brothers Crestlawn Memorial Chapel, 11500 Arlington Ave, Riverside, Ca 92505. Her funeral mass will be on Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mel Catholic Church, 4140 Corona Ave, Norco Ca 92860.
