Pauline C. Burnett of Riverside, CA passed away Tuesday, January 24, 2017. Born April 23, 1933, in Zebulon, NC, she graduated from Corinth Holders High School in 1950, and from the University of North Carolina Women's College at Greensboro in 1954 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education. She taught third and fourth grade students in North Carolina, and in California. In 1959 she met and married the love of her life, the late James L. Burnett. They moved from the Bay Area to Riverside to create American Garage Door Corporation, which they operated together for over thirty years. She and her husband were founding members of the Rubidoux United Methodist Church, and she also participated in many Jurupa Lions Club charities beside him. She was a wonderful mother to her children Michael and Deborah, and she loved her stepson, Jim. She enjoyed spending time with her six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Pauline loved music, travel, and especially animals.
