PETER RONALD KING Age 76, resident of Riverside for 49 years, passed away 05/26/2011, due to pneumonia, at Riverside Community Hospital. Peter was born in Liverpool, England. He was owner of Pete King\'s Soccer Shop for 20 years and was employed at Hunter Engineering. He received the Chuck Kane Leadership Award, the Hero of Riverside Award and was inducted into the Riverside Sports Hall of Fame. He was very active in AYSO Region 47. Peter is survived by his wife, Jackie King; daughters, Joanne Wirts, Janice Madnick, Nancy Smith and Catherine King; son, Michael King, all of Riverside; sisters, Nancy Morris, Myra McLaughlin, both of Liverpool, England; caregiver, Nestor Gerona; 8 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 1 grandchild, Phillip Smith. Memorial Service Wed., June 1, 1:00pm at Acheson & Graham Garden of Prayer, 7944 Magnolia Ave., Riverside, CA 92504.
