Raimon Wells Sr.

Raimon Maurice Wells Sr was born on July 19, 1932 in Austin Texas. His mother was Fanny Lee and his father was Arnold Horace Wells Sr. He lost father at the tender age of 3. Raimon grew up in Austin Texas and left school in the 11th grade to help take care of his Mother's household. He began work at a furniture company before meeting his future wife Ora Lee Young in 1949 at Tillotson College. They we're married on December 20, 1950 and bore four children together Raimon Maurice Wells Jr, Kenneth Ray Wells, Deborah Kay Wells - Wiggins and Rhonda Fay Wells - Green. They shared a loving union of 53 years which ended with the untimely passing of Ora in 2004.

Raimon worked 35 years for Boeing Corporation / McDonnell Douglas as an air traffic controller and Forman of Raw Materials. He enjoyed Jazz and loved his sports mainly Football, Basketball and Golf. Raimon was a loving and kind man whom everyone took a liking to. He always provided for his family, often times working two jobs just to insure the comfort and happiness of his Children and his "Honey". He was indeed a wonderful Father and a loving Husband.

Raimon passed on October 6, 2013 from complications of Kidney Disease. He is survived by 3 Children, 7 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren. He will forever live in our hearts and will be missed. Farewell Daddy until we all meet again and God bless you.
