Ramon Cabrera Sr.

Age 82 of Riverside, CA passed away at home on December 26th, 2020. Ramon was born in Riverside, CA to Jesus and Virginia Cabrera. He is survived by his loving wife Teresa, his daughters Rebecca, Elizabeth, Kathy, his sister’s Lucina Flores and Virginia ‘Nani’ Palmerin and his brother Jesus Jr. He has 16 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren. He is met in heaven by his parents, Jesus and Virginia, his sister Maria Cabrera and his son’s Juan, Jesus ‘Chuey’, Ramon ‘Monice’ Jr. and his brother Robert Lopez.

Ramon and Teresa met in 1954 and married in 1955, they had 6 children and enjoyed 65 years of marriage. They often enjoyed traveling together, their favorite destination Las Vegas where Ramon loved to test his luck on the slots. Ramon was a hard worker and provider for his family. He was a dedicated member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church and often served his community thru volunteer work with the church. Ramon was a lifetime member of the Inland Empire Raider Booster Club and enjoyed giving back to the local Ronald McDonald foundation. He loved Sunday Football and always enjoyed a good game. He also enjoyed his annual carnitas cookout for Superbowl Sunday with family and friends. Family was everything to him as he was everything to his family.

Services will be held January 19th, 2020 from 3p-7p at Acheson and Graham Garden of Prayer, Mass will be held January 20th, 2020, 10am, at. St. Thomas the Apostle Church 3744 Jackson Street Riverside.
