

child he lived on a 2 acre ranch in a two story house. His father's name was
Richard Oswald Davison and his mother's name was Leona Ruth Davison.
He was the youngest in his family, brother being the oldest his name Larry
Richard Davison and sister being the middle child her name is Kay Ann
Davison. He lived in Ohio until he was six years old. In 1955 the family sold
the ranch to move to los angeles for his father's job opportunity in
aerospace. They lived in Los Angeles for one year. In 1957 they bought a
house in Anaheim and Richard Lee attended James Madison Elementary
school. He was a member of the boy scouts troop 172 for many years. He
received awards and achievements for work with the troop. In 1962 he
entered trident JR. High school in anaheim. He was active in football and
track, track became his specialty. When he entered Loara high school in
anaheim the coaches knew Richard Lee for his ability in track at trident.
His specialty event was the pole vault. He graduated high school from Loara
HIgh school in Anaheim in 1967. Richard Lee lettered in track every year he
attended high school. In 1966 at the all Southern Countries track met he
vaulted 14 feet to win all Southern California. After he graduated from
Loara High School he attended Fullerton College and participated in track
and majored in business. He was a certified scuba diver from the southern
california aquatics center and he was a member of the orange county ski
club. In 1976 Richard Lee married Valorie Ann Pomper and they had a
daughter name Summer Lee Davison. In 1978 Richard learned to sell,
install and coordinate materials for a drapery business. He then found
interest in construction and made a great living as a Deputy Inspector
which led him in owning his own business which is now called Richard
Davison Inspections were he was very successful. Richard Lee was a
collector. He collected many different antiques from Thomas Edison
Phonographs to 1938 Chevy Sedan. He also collected, watches, sports
memorabilia, cards, coins, and megalodon teeth. Collecting was Richards
hobbie. Richard was a very outgoing, energetic, and friendly guy. Richard
was diagnosed with stage 4 Melanoma lung cancer and was given one year
to live. He was so determined to battle cancer and prove to the doctors that
he could beat the cancer. On August 6th at around 10am Richard passed
away from the cancer. He was only 67 years old. He is survived by his
daughter Summer Currie, son in law Jason Currie, grandson Hayden
Currie, grandson Gavin Currie, granddaughter Katelyn Currie, brother
Larry Davison and sister Kay Davison.
