A beloved spouse, mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Rosa G. Juarez, aged 90, passed away peacefully on January 31, 2023, at her home in Chino, California. She was born on September 1, 1932, in Mexico D. F., Mexico, to Manuel and Juanita Garcia. She grew up in Mexico City and it is where she met the love of her life in 1949, Albino Pineda Juarez. They were married on February 23, 1951, in Mexico City, and they cherished their 71 years of marriage.
They both decided that since it was difficult to find a steady job, her husband would go to the United States under the “Bracero Program”, or the Mexican Farm Labor Program, along with her father to find steady work. As a result, the family immigrated to the United States on December 12, 1960. They were both hard workers during their employment at the Harada Ranch, until they opened their own business, Ontario Building Materials, in Ontario, CA in 1975.
Rosa will be remembered as the matriarch of the family, a woman with a huge heart and concern for all in need. She was a hard worker, providing help when needed, loved to laugh, listen to music, and enjoyed nurturing her five (5) children, and spoiling her Nine (9) grandchildren, and Eight (8) great-grandchildren. She gave the biggest hugs, warmest kisses, and welcomed anyone traveling to visit the family to stay at their house and not a hotel. She made sacrifices to help others and encouraged education to all, especially her grandkids. Her cooking was legendary, she loved to cook, to host fiestas, and to celebrate life to the fullest.
She is survived by her husband, Albino P. Juarez of Chino; her Daughter Maria del Rocio Lootens, widow, of San Bernardino; her stepson Shawn of Texas, two grandchildren, Cody & Liberty; her children Brandon and daughter-in-law Amanda of Albuquerque, New Mexico; three grandchildren, Devan, Mia, & Layla; Brandi and son-in-law Ryan Davis of Wrightwood; three grandchildren, Jaydon, Kaylon, & Birdie; her Son Juan Manuel Juarez and five grandchildren, Adam, Rory, Pilar, Terrence, & Seamus of Laguna Beach; her Daughter Teresita Juarez of Chino; her Son Jose A.
