Rubio,
Not a day goes by when I don’t think of you. Pease keep your watchful eye over all of us. You are loved mightily and stories about you will and are continuing to be shared. 

Your love, life and legacy will continue to go on. I know you are in heaven with Great Grandma/Great Grandpa Parker and with JJ -continue to watch over us.

I will always love and appreciate Rubio. He had so much to offer and even though he had a short life he certainly left a legacy. . . A legacy of character that is just not so often seen anymore. Love and miss you Rubio

I only met Rubio once. When his mom, his aunt and I had got together for the day. His mom, aunt and I are God sisters. My parents are his mom and aunt’s God parents and his mom and aunt’s parents are my God parents. We all had our boys near the same time. I still have a picture of us three moms with our sweet baby boys. My family moved soon after the picture was taken. Having only met Rubio once, I still watched him grow through his mother’s pictures and stories. So I did not know him yet I loved him and was proud of him. He is a missing piece of my life because he is a missing piece of my sweet sister Mel. 

Rubio was one of my husbands best friends. We hung out all the time in high school and after. He was stoked when my husband and I found out we were expecting our first child. Rubio had moved to Merced and unfortunately never got to meet our children, but he was doing what most 24 year olds dream of! He was traveling doing what he loved to do. I wish we couldve saw him one last time, but I know we will meet again someday. Rubio was hilarious and I will never forget the night senior year we went to jack in the box and the 5 of us ordered 20 tacos and he ate 12 lol! That was the best most hilarious night and I will never forget it! I love you Rubio 

I remember when you were 5ish going to the river with your mom and jimmy...her dragging you around every where she went...you have always been a pleasure to be around...even as a young child...tho you've grown to a remarkable young man your great personality never changed....I will miss you Rubio...rest easy my friend 

My Beloved Rubio,  (Pookers) I have been so blessed to of had you in my life. I have loved you since the day you were born. My love grew the first time I got to hold you in my arms.  All the times through out the years we played, we laughed, we hugged, we loved. We have had some great talks  and we shared many things together. It was to my great honor that your mother asked me to be your Godmother.  As a child growing up my childhood dream was to be a homemaker and that I would be the best wife and mother a family could hope to have. I think I full filled that dream but my dream was broadened to be the best Godmother I could be also. It wasn't just a bests friends title given to me but a life of responsibilities, privilege, and added family. It has been to my great pleasure to share my life with you and your mother.  You always made me feel that you returned your love to me. Things you said and your actions let me know how much you loved me. You always listened to me and my opinions of life. You have only been gone a week but the void of knowing never again spending time here on earth with you, collecting hugs and kisses, engaging in great conversations, making future plans, sharing our lives,  well it stings and it so deeply hurts clear down to my hearts core. I am thankful you knew our Lord Jesus Christ and are with him in heaven. This is the  greatest comfort I have. In this I know you are happy and healthy and that I will be able to see you again. The story isn't over yet. Rainbows to you my Pookers. I'll be Loving you for ever and for always, Auntie Milla

I remember when ollie woke up before me... and instead of waking me up he called his uncle ROOBYO to go show him the 240. So while ollie is showing rubio his racecar.. rubio goes out to the parking lot at juanitas to show oliver HIS 240...while working!... just to teach ollie which car parts were which. Oliver loved his padrino. Rubio was the best godfather anyone could've asked for. He will forever live on in our family. We love you Rubio. Please watch over your godson in death the same way you did in life. We will miss you eternally. Until we meet again my brother. Much love. Shred it rubio.

Rubio, you will always have a special place in my heart. We spent so much time together, at such an important time in our lives, and that time and impact will never be forgotten. I remember having so much fun together and laughing constantly. From beach trips, to dances, summer days, theatre festivals and shows, we never had a dull moment. You were there to support me through some really tough times. Your family welcomed in our neighborhood band of teenagers, and always loved us (and fed us) as their own. I am so grateful to have had you in my life, and I’m so sad you’re gone. I am so grateful for your family. I pray and wish for the healing of all those you’ve known, especially your family, because not having you around is an incredible loss. Until we meet again, I love you. 

Rubio your love for family and friends is immense.  The joy you have for videography and your new job was evident in your smile and laughter when speaking about them. 

One of my fondest memories is when you came to our family Easter celebration and you gave me one of your famous squeezy bear hugs and said, “I just love my new family”.  You know you are loved more than you can ever know. 

I know you are watching us from heaven and pray that you continue to protect us til we all meet again. 

I imagine the world is unaware of how loved you were.  You're family and friends however knew all too well. That is the difficulty in accepting things the way they are.  It is not for us to question my son, but we are still aching for you.  You had a hold on many hearts and you are undoubtedly the best thing that happened to your Dad and me.  You were the miracle I waited for.  Now, my son, you must wait for me.   You were my best friend, my confidant and my child.  Whatever I needed, whenever I needed, you were with me.  I hope you watch over us until we meet again. You're sweet smile and deep laugh... I hear you laughing with your family up there.  God bless you, son, may you rest in eternal peace, and know I will be there someday to hug you and kiss you again.  I am glad there are no tears in heaven.  I am happy that you will never hurt again. May all you're family and friends have peace of heart and know that heaven gained an amazing angel. We love you forever, our baby you will be.
