Ruth Irene (Jensen) Dickey, 94 of Riverside, California passed away peacefully on August 11, 2025. She was born at home on May 17, 1931, in Deerfield, IL. Ruth, a resident of Riverside since 1959, spent her time raising her three children. She later became a Girl Scout troop leader and a volunteer with the Riverside League of Women Voters. Later, she was the council secretary for the Riverside chapter of Job’s Daughters. She also loved sewing and was an accomplished seamstress. Ruth loved gardening and her dog. She liked traveling, camping and photography. She was also an amateur artist. She loved to draw and paint. Ruth is survived by her daughters, Carol Reay and husband Frank of Hesperia, Barbara Dickey and husband Dilip Anketell of Fallbrook, and Lois Cogan of Menifee, nine grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Richard Dickey.

A graveside service for Ruth will be held Tuesday, September 9, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Boulevard, Riverside, CA 92518.
