Born on October 31, 1959 in Riverside California, Cookie lived a life filled with warmth, laughter, and a love for music and dancing. She had a beautiful spirit that touched everyone who knew her — a woman who found joy in the simple things: a good song, a shared meal, and time spent with those she loved most.
Cookie was a devoted mother to her beloved son, Charlie Martinez Jr, and a proud grandmother to her four cherished grandchildren, who brought endless light to her life. She is survived by her mother Annie Contreras, her brothers: Michael Segovia and Albert Contreras, her sisters: Marylou Segovia, Corrina Segovia and Crystal Pineda. She also leaves behind dozens of nephews and nieces, whom she loved dearly. Her family was her greatest joy, and she filled their lives with cherished memories and unwavering love.
Whether she was dancing to her favorite tunes, attending family gatherings, or simply sharing stories and smiles, Cookie had a way of making every moment special. Her kindness, thoughtfulness, and spirit for life will be remembered by all who knew her.
Though Cookie is no longer with us, she will continue in the hearts of all who loved her.
