Willie our beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother passed away on November 26, 2017, in Riverside surrounded by family. Willie was born in San Bernardino, and moved to Casa Blanca where he lived most of his life.
He worked for Amex for years, and then began his own landscaping business. He retired and began to do what he loved best, working on his yard. He was a man of integrity and honesty, who lived a humble and simple life. He worked everyday to provide for his family. He helped raise his grandchildren and made the best pancakes. He always spoke of his beloved Chevy truck, known as the “Lowrider”.
He is survived by his wife Julia, sons John, Choco, and Tiny Valdez; daughters Birdie Rivera, Lorraine Valdez, Lydia Enriquez, Rachel Valdez- Sivihok and sister Gloria Sevallos. 33 grandchildren, and 35 great grandchildren and many relatives and friends. He was proceeded in death by his mother Elizabeth Valdez, father Juan Valdez, brother Freddie “Beefo” Valdez, and grandson Jaime Rivera Jr.
As his granddaughter said, the world will be a little less colorful without him in it. He will truly be missed, but has left us all with beautiful and amazing memories.
