Becky McKenzie

Our loving wife, mother, and grandmother, Becky Jean (McVey) McKenzie, passed away on May 12, 2015. She was born August 30, 1958, to Chester and Betty McVey in Spanish Fork, Utah. She graduated from Spanish Fork High School in 1976. She graduated with her B.S. and Master’s from the University of Utah in Accounting. She married Terry McKenzie on August 19, 1977 in the Provo Temple. She was employed by the Utah State Tax Commission as a Senior Income Tax Auditor for 23 years. All who knew her knew she was passionate about making crafts, especially teddy bears, spending time with her grandchildren, and taxes.

Becky was preceded in death by her parents, her older brother Douglas McVey, and grandson Ralph F. McKenzie. She will be deeply missed by her husband Terry, children Mike McKenzie (Sandra), Melanie Criddle (Thayne), and grandchildren, Alex, Camila, Luca, Kaylee, Malia, Timothy, and Nikolai.

Funeral services and viewings will be held at the Deerfield Ward Building located at 4322 S. 5400 W. in West Valley City. The viewings will be held Wednesday, May 20 7:00-9:00 p.m. and Thursday, May 21 9:00-9:45 a.m. prior to the funeral services, which are scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m.
