Beverly Herman Watson, a beloved wife, mother of four, and grandmother of eleven, passed away peacefully in Riverton, Utah on Sunday March 29th 2026, surrounded by love, with her spouse beside her. She is survived by her spouse (Dave) and her 4 children: Brandon (Catrina), Brooke Mickelson (Britton), Rachel Robinson (Ellis), and Nicolas.
Beverly was born on August 4th 1962 in Salt lake CIty, Utah to Byron and Beverly Herman. From her early life, she always had a caregiver mind and wanted to help and serve those around her. At 16 she became a licensed cosmetologist and continued that throughout her life. She married Dave Watson, her high school sweetheart in 1981. The couple welcomed 4 children into their home and Beverly set about teaching them, loving them, and caring for them. After building the home they raised their family in, Beverly returned to school to get her nursing degree. She continued her education by becoming a water aerobics instructor.
She always wanted to have fun and enjoyed going to the disco dance or roller skating as a young girl, as well as boating or anything to do with water. She loved trying new things and traveling. She lived for her children and supported them in every aspect of life, whether it was academics, sports, or relationships. She worked as an RN at Alta View Hospital for many years, and then transitioned to being a Hospice nurse. She was very caring and blessed the lives of many patients and their families.
Beverly found joy in life’s simple pleasures: going to water aerobics classes, exercising, going to plays and musicals, spending time with her children and grandchildren, and playing board games. As a youth, she loved going to Lake Powell and had a passion for disco dancing and the great outdoors. She loved her LDS faith and fellow ward members, she cherished going to church, singing hymns, and living her values.
A viewing will be held on Friday April 3, 2026 from 6-8 PM. A viewing will also be held from 9-9:45 AM on Saturday April 4th with a funeral to follow at 10:00 AM. The location is at the LDS Chapel 2361 13400 S, Riverton, UT 84065. Beverly will be interred at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park South Valley
