

She was born in Ogden, Utah on September 16, 1939, to Dr. Joseph S. and Frances Hellewell. She and her twin sister, Lorna, were raised in Evanston, Wyoming. The girls and their mother lived in Los Angeles with their grandparents while their father was stationed overseas during WWII.
Linda's school years were spent in Evanston, and she graduated from Evanston High School in 1958. During high school she was active in choir, art, school plays and baton twirling. She briefly attended the University of Wyoming. She later graduated from the University of Utah in 1971 with a BFA and later obtained her M. Ed. from Westminster College. She taught art in the Granite School District for 28 years. She participated in volunteer activities and pursuing her love of art and paleontology.
Linda is survived by her son, John and his wife Teresa and their girls, Sarah and Kate, James and his wife Leslie and their children Kameron, Trae, Jake, Madison, and Kale, Sharon Twitchell and her children Natalie and Eric. She has several great grand children and nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her sister, Susan Parkins. Linda was preceded in death by her grandparents, her parents and her twin sister, Lorna Sanders.
Funeral services for Linda will be held on Friday, February 4, 2022 at 10:30 AM at Jenkins-Soffe South Valley, 1007 W. South Jordan Parkway, South Jordan with a visitation from 9:30 - 10:15 AM. Interment will be held at Wasatch Lawn South Valley.
