He was born January 10, 1937. Mr. Lee was a high school football coach for over twenty years and was later a sales consultant for 3M Company. He was a color commentator for high school football on WROV Radio and a basketball official for the Western Virginia Region.
He was predeceased by his parents, Newell B. Lee and Addie C. Lee, and is survived by his son, Randall Purdy, and a brother, Barney Lee (Connie). A private interment will be held at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Roanoke, Virginia at 11:00 a.m. on April 12, 2024.
