
Nun C Everett, Jr. 93, of Robersonville, died on the morning of Friday, September 14, 2012. A graveside service will be held Sunday, September 23, at 2:00 in the Robersonville Cemetery in Robersonville. He was born on July11, 1919, in Robersonville, N. C. the son of Nun C. Everett and Allie G. Little Everett. After attending Oakridge Military Academy, Oakridge, N.C. he enlisted in the US Army where he took part in World War II in the Italian Theater which included the Battle of Anzio Beachhead. He left the Army and returned to Robersonville and became self employed as a farmer and also was the accountant for the family business. He was an active member of the First Baptist Church in Robersonville. The last years of his life he was troubled with illnesses which he was in and out of hospitalized care. His caretakers, family and friends have remained by his side through it all. Nuns' family would like to offer special thanks for his wonderful care by his caretakers, George Walton, Idonia Walton and Gail Paige.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Mildred Everett and brother, William R. Everett. Nun is survived by his brother, Ned P. Everett: nephew; William R. Everett, Jr. (Tex) and wife, Vel Thurber Everett; niece, Alyce Everett Green and her husband, John I. Green: great nephews; Brian C. Everett, Christopher N. Everett, J. Tyler Green, Zachary T. Thurber, Cameron E. Green and Mason A. Thurber. The family will receive friends Saturday night, September 22, 2012 between 7:00 and 8:30 at Biggs Funeral Home in Robersonville.
