Vernon Elliotte Brown, 83, died Monday, January 21, 2013 at his home. The funeral service will be held Thursday at 11:00 AM at Biggs Funeral Home Chapel with Jimmy Elks, Chris Minton and Whitie Warren officiating; burial will follow at the Robersonville Cemetery.
Mr. Brown was born in Gold Point on January 19, 1930, son of the late Jim and Reba Johnson Brown. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Gold Point Christian Church. On November 18, 1950 he married Edna Warren Brown who survives. Survivors in addition to his wife are a daughter Vicky Boyd and husband Tony of Greenville, son Mike Brown and wife Julie of Gold Point, sister Louise Bland of Gold Point, 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7-8:30 PM at Biggs Funeral Home in Robersonville and other times at the residence of Mike Brown 19952 NC 903 Robersonville NC.
