Anna Mae Kump

Visitation is 4-8PM Tuesday at the Hodgson Funeral Home Rock Island, IL with a prayer service at 4:00PM. Funeral services will be 10:00AM Wednesday (11/28/2012) at St. Ambrose Catholic Church Milan, IL. Burial will follow at Rose Lawn Cemetery Moline. Memorials may be made to The American Cancer Society.

Anna was born July 7, 1932 in Trinidad, CO to Domonic & Laura (Teeples) Baldassar. She was united in marriage to David L. Kump on June 4, 1956 in Trinidad, Co.; he preceded her in death on October 16, 2011. Anna had taught second grade at Longfellow Elementary School in Rock Island for 29 years retiring in 1988.

Anna was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church Milan, IL. Earlier in life she enjoyed fishing and traveling with her husband, going out to dinner at the boat and for penny slots, and spending time with her friends & family especially her great grand children.

Survivors: son Alan (Alice) Kump, Davenport, IA; daughter Annette (Craig) Morris, Milan, IL; Grandson Justin (Bethany) Kump; Granddaughter Alena Morris (Rob Edwards); Grandson Aaron (Jennifer) Morris both of Milan, IL; Step-grandchildren Bethany & Nathan Schneckenberger, Davenport, IA; Great grandchildren Andrew Doyle, Owen & Emmett Kump, Jaron, Logan & Zayden Morris; sisters Mary Johnson, Albque, NM and Jean Wallendorff, Arvada, CO; and a sister in law Rose Baldassar, Denver, CO

Anna was preceded in death by her parents and a brother John Baldassar.
