Steven A. Carey, 60, of Rock Island, IL passed away Friday, September 14, 2012 at Trinity Medical Center Rock Island. Cremation will be done with a memorial service honoring his life to be 11:00AM Wednesday at the Hodgson Funeral Home Rock Island. The family will greet friends an hour prior to the service. Memorials may be made to the family.

Steven was born March 26, 1952 in Moline, IL to W. Junior & Helen (Hartough) Carey.
He had worked as a mechanic for 25 years and more recently drove cab for Buddy Boy Cab.
In his free time Steve enjoyed NASCAR and going fishing.
Survivors includes 2 sisters Barbara Carey, Milan & Tina Wade, Rock Island; a brother Charles “Lippy” Carey, Rock Island; and nieces & nephews.
