She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 53 years, Victor Gattuso Sr. Matriarch of a blended family of 8 children, Bette will also be missed by Debbie Elliott (Harry), Andrea Stone (Al), Pam Light, Sandra Spickard (Brian), Loretta Sidoti, Carmelo Sidoti (Brenda), Carmen Gattuso, and Victor Gattuso Jr. (Cheryl). Grandma will be missed dearly by her 12 Grandchildren, Carl Sidoti, Jennifer Laureano (Al), Juliana Garcia (Marty), Ariale Gomez (Fabian), Stevie Light, Michael Pennock, Roxanne Elliott (Antonio), Harry Elliott IV (Deana), Chelsea Elliott, Nick Elliott (Amber), Blake Stone, Victor Paul Gattuso and her beautiful 14 Great Grandchildren.
Bette was born in Cleveland, Ohio and during Vic and Bette’s 53 year marriage they lived in Ohio, Massachusetts, Florida and California, then back to Melbourne, Florida in 2015.
Bette met Victor Gattuso Sr., the love of her life, while they both were employed at General Cinema Theaters in Cleveland, Ohio. They enjoyed traveling, cooking, theatre, and music but mostly Bette enjoyed her time with their beloved combined family, grand and great grandchildren.
Family ask in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Wuesthoff Brevard Hospice “The Promise Foundation” which was the hospice staff and organization who so gently stayed by her side until her death.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Friday, November 3, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Life Event Center at Florida Memorial, 5950 S US Highway 1, Rockledge, FL 32955, followed by a celebration of life at 12:00 PM.
