Betty Anne Roberts

She is survived by her loving husband of 70 years, Darrell "DB". She was the devoted mother of two, grandmother of eight, and great-grandmother of eight.

Betty was born in Atlanta, Georgia on April 21,1935 where she grew up and graduated high school in 1953. She married Darrell Bruce Roberts in December of that same year, and became a dedicated military wife and mother, while her husband served both at home and abroad for the next 19 years. Upon his retirement from the U.S. Air Force at the end of 1972, they relocated to Melbourne, Florida, where Betty lived out the rest of her days with Darrell. Her life centered on serving as church secretary, choir member, Sunday school teacher, and faithful friend. She prepared hundreds of meals for and visited with those who were sick and in need. Still, she always made time to love on her "grandbabies". Her faith in Jesus was central to her life and she truly served others well.

A gathering of family and friends for Betty will be held Saturday, April 6, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Life Event Center at Florida Memorial, 5950 South US Highway 1, Rockledge, Florida, followed by a celebration of life at 11:00 AM. A private burial for family will follow the service.
