

Carol Ann Cooper of Melbourne Florida passed away peacefully on April 27, 2019 at the age of 77. She was surrounded by her family. A graveside service will be held at 10 am on June 22, 2019 at Florida Memorial Gardens, 5950 S. Hwy US1, Rockledge, FL.
Carol proudly served her country for over 30+ years as a civil servant working within the Central Intelligence Agency. As an Intelligent Officer, a Foreign Service Officer, and dedicated American she was able to serve at home and abroad; including Bolivia and Turkey. Whether near or abroad Carol prided herself on two things: her love and dedication to her country and her family.
After her retirement she continued to contribute to her community serving as President of the Space Coast Chapter of the Central Intelligent Retirement Association (CIRA), and an elite member of the Association of Former Intelligence Officers (AFIO). She also continued her service by volunteering at ProHealth and Fitness Center in Viera, Florida.
Carol was born on August 27th, 1941 in Malden Massachusetts. She is survived her husband of 51 years, Franklin Cooper; her sons Craig and Kevin Cooper; their wives, Maritess and Michaela; and her cherished grandchildren Christopher and Melanie. Her sister Pat Marino and cousin Barbra Crowley also survive her. Lastly, she is survived by her beloved dog, Catherine.
