

Curtis Luther Carlberg passed away at Rockledge Regional, Medial Center in Rockledge, Florida on May 18, 2023 at the age of 94.
Curtis was born on the family farm in Stanchfield Township, Isanti County, Minnesota. He attended grade school at the local one room schoolhouse. Not long after high school he enlisted in the US Army. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Koran War. He came to Florida from Atlanta , Georgia. His life long career was as an electrical engineer unit manager for industrial and utility repair for the General Electric Company. In 1978 he received the General Electric Corporate Stuben Glass Centennial Award as one of the 100 most valuable employees.
He enjoyed golfing, traveling, and donating to numerous charities. He was amember of the Viera Faith Lutheran Church in Viera.
Curtis is survived by his sister Catherine Noreen (John), stepson, Dr Daniel T. Scheuerer (Diane), Todd, and Barbara, David, Alana and Dylan and cousins, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his loving parents, Andrew and Agnes, his brother Adar, sister Joan and his wife Muriel. Special appreciation is expressed to his caregiver Ruby Anderson.
A celebration of life service will be held at the Viera Faith Lutheran Church at 9:00 AM Thursday, June 15, 2023. Inurnment will be at the Florida Memorial Gardens in Rockledge with Muriel, his beloved wife of 32 years.
