He was born in Walnut Cove, North Carolina on April 21, 1918.
Curtis was an WWII Army veteran and participated in the D-Day Invasion on Normandy.
Curtis is survived by his neice Teresa Arrts and nephews Steve and Mitch Lee.
Funeral services and interment will be in Salem, Virginia.
