We only just found out today and are profoundly saddened. To see Dale grow from Little League through high school and beyond was amazing. A fierce, yet fair, competitor (regardless of being on the same team with Nick or the opposing one). A loyal friend. That ever present impish smile he had since childhood. A ray of light in the darkness. Or even in the sunshine. And now Dale is enveloped in God’s eternal light and love. Until reunited may we all take comfort in the memories we hold of Dale in our hearts.

Dale was an incredible young man who was always so kind, so considerate, so loving and always looking out for everyone. What stood out the most was his huge heart, his sense of humor and paying attention to everyone. 
When he came over Dale always made time give you a hug then  have a conversation with you individually. He was genuinely concerned about everyone and would ask how you were and share what he was doing in his life. His sense of humor was out of this world and his crazy funny laughter made everything even funnier. There were more than a few times I was crying from laughing so hard from his replies to questions on game night. He loved seeing everyone and loved making them laugh.
Dale was dearly loved in our home and will be eternally missed.

I had the chance to play baseball with and against Dale growing up. One of the most outgoing people I remember being around  with an electric personality on and off the field. Huge heart and a phenomenal sense of humor. He will be missed.

My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

Over these last several years i have had the privilege to call Dale my friend.  Dale was the man that others his age viewed as a role model, I know I did. He was strong, absolutely hilarious, giving, humble, and would excel at any and everything he put his mind to. Weather it be snowboarding, surfing, or wakeboarding he would leave others in the dust. Dale was the product of an amazing family, a family that on many occasions has treated me like one of their own. He will live on in the hearts of his friends and family for he impacted so many people. We miss you Dale. 

I have been very close friends with Linda, Dale’s mother.  Over the past two years of our friendship, I got to know Dale through her loving eyes.   She was so extremely proud of this young man who had recently graduated from university.  He had been balancing work, school, family and a social life.  And, yes, I could feel, through her, the person he was - kind, considerate, loving, dedicated and, most of all, a loyal son.  

Dale was a beautiful young man who loved his friends and family. I loved walking into work and seeing his infectious smile and getting a big hug! I will miss our conversations about his life and loves. I absolutely adored him and he will be truly truly missed! ❤️🙏🏼❤️ 

Dale always had a smile on his face, a kind word to say, a listening ear, and a great work ethic.   I would tell his dad, “He’s Mike 2.0”

Through Mike, I watched Dale grow up the last 20 years.  He was such a great son.  And then suddenly he was working with us!   We had many conversations, and I found him to be a thoughtful, insightful and caring person.  His friends adored him.

I don’t think a dad ever loved a son so much. 

Dale, you left a hole in our hearts. 



In the current craziness in our ED world, your co-workers can make or break your day. Dale was a favorite of many. That huge smile, chuckle, and personality helped me through many shifts, especially this past year. At his young age, sometimes it's difficult to tell if someone will be successful. Dale, I have no doubt you were going to be a rock-star throughout your life!  Prayers and love to Mike and Claire, Linda, Emily and the rest of his numerous family members, co-workers, and friends. A huge loss to us all. Heaven gained and angel and we will miss him always. 

Please accept our deepest sympathy in the loss of Dale.  He was a good friend to Reuben and his passing has left us all broken hearted.  We are praying for strength and peace for all of us that loved Dale, especially his family.
