

David Keith Brainard, 53, of Palm Coast, passed away on November 10th, 2010 after a long illness; his loving family was by his side. David was an inventor and the founder and president of Luma Brite Technologies of Ormond Beach. He was a member of SGIA (Screen Graphics Imaging Assoc.), ISA (International Sign Assoc) as well as the DBCC (Daytona Beach Chamber of Commerce) and the VMA (Volusia County Manufacturers Assoc). David was a graduate of Merritt Island High School and attended Santa Fe Community College in Gainesville, FL.
David is survived by his wife, Kimberly S. Brainard; his parents, Richard R. Brainard and Martha J. Brainard and the late Janet L. Brainard; and his siblings, Richard R. Brainard of Houston TX, Rebecca S. Shubrook of Oak Leaf TX, Cindy M. Lacey of Yakima WA, Richard L. Myhan of Lafayette, LA and Jacqueline M. Marcus of Waxahachie TX; as well as twelve nieces, nephews and one grand nephew.
Private graveside services will be held at Florida Memorial Gardens in Rockledge, FL. A memorial service and celebration of his life will be held at the corporate offices of Luma Brite Technologies in Ormond Beach on Friday, November 19th at 5:30pm.
