

Dolores is the daughter of Frieda Minnie Seifferlein and Alois Demmer. Dolores graduated from Royal Oak High School and Michigan State University, where she received a bachelor’s degree in business. She later received a teacher’s degree from Nazareth College in Rochester, NY.
Dolores worked for Chevrolet Engineering and married Roger Frank Gailey on May 20, 1961. After living in Charlotte, North Carolina, Lincroft, New Jersey, and Webster, NY, the family moved to Satellite Beach and later Indian Harbour Beach, FL. Dolores taught at DeLaura Junior High School and Brevard Community College for 20 years. She and Roger were members of Good Sams International and spent many happy years camping with Rolling Sams and traveling in their RV. Her real passion was genealogy, researching family members throughout the United States and Europe. Dolores belonged to Sun Stitchers and Seaside Piece Makers quilting groups, and the Brevard Association of Miniatures. She was affiliated with St. Mark’s United Methodist, Ascension Lutheran, and Kingdom Gate Churches.
Roger preceded Dolores in death after 54 years of marriage. She is survived by her son, Michael Louis Gailey (wife Norma), daughter Kristen Lynn Stevens (Husband Casey), grandchildren Foster Thomas Gailey, Michael Chase Gailey, Matthew William Stevens, and Ryan Patrick Stevens, and a granddaughter, Nina Kathleen Gailey, who preceded her in death. She had two half-sisters, Mildred Ellsworth and Phillis Crow, and 6 nieces and nephews.
Roger and Dolores were laid to rest in Florida Memorial Gardens Mortuary in Rockledge, FL, after a family service.
