

She was predeceased by her husband of 63 years, Bob, her parents, Curtis and Bertha Bobo and her beloved brother, C.L.
Doris was born in Knoxville, TN in 1929. The family moved to Baltimore for a short time before settling in Miami, Florida. Doris met her husband, Bob, in Miami as a young woman and followed him to Washington DC, where he was employed by the government.
Doris and Bob moved their family to Brevard in 1963. Before moving to Brevard, she and her husband lived in several fascinating places. She lived in Honolulu, Hawaii and Tokyo, Japan. When her husband was recalled to Washington, DC, they chose to return to the U.S by ship, sailing through the Indian Ocean and up through the Suez Canal into the Mediterranean. They toured Egypt and Europe before sailing the Atlantic back to New York. She loved traveling especially cruising. She was a talented painter and enjoyed gem faceting and jewelry making.
She is survived by her four children: Glenn (Josie) Hudson, Debra (Joe) Gorman, Craig Hudson and Donna Hudson. 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Interment will take place on Tuesday, July 13, 2021 @ 11am at Florida Memorial Gardens in Rockledge, FL.
In lieu of flowers, the family recommends donations in Doris’s name to a charity of their choice.
