Edward was born in Vivian, West Virginia on January 17, 1934. He served in the Navy during the Korean War, following that he moved to Brevard County in 1958 where he worked at the Kennedy Space Center for 36 years.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Patsy; sons, Tommy Lawson, Skip (Debbie) Lawson; daughter, Becki (Steve) Van Horn; brother, Roland Lawson; five grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
There will be a visitation from 1:00-2:00PM on Monday, May 26, 2014, followed by a funeral service at 2:00PM at the Life Event Center at Florida Memorial.
Entombment will follow at Florida Memorial Gardens.
