Evelyn R. Allen

Evelyn was born May 28, 1922 in Johnston City, IL to Henry J. and Jessie (Osman) Eller. She grew up in Miami, FL before settling down in Ft Pierce, FL.

For many years she worked for the St. Lucie County School Board and at a Ft. Pierce packing house. Evelyn was a charter member of the Oleander Church of God in Ft. Pierce for over 50 years. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, and taking her grandchildren to the beach.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years; Cletis H. Allen and her brother; Cleo Eller. She is survived by her daughters; Cleta Mae Gossar and Rose Mary Shoff, grandchildren; Steve Liberatore, Luanne Uligian, Roxanne Parsley, Robert Shoff, and Roland Shoff. She is also survived by her great grandchildren; Samuel Liberatore, Maisy and Meadow Liberatore, Miranda Legg, Bo Shoff, Ty Shoff, Savannah and Alexandria Shoff, Alana Shoff, Mitchell Shoff, and Liliana Shoff.

There will be a Visitation at the Oleander Church of God on Oleander Avenue in Ft. Pierce, FL. on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 from 10-11 am with a service to follow at 11am. Interment will be immediately following the service in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Ft. Pierce.
