Francis R. Main

Francis R Main, was born April 21, 1938 and raised in Macedon, NY by his parents, Roland and Elizabeth Main along with his two sisters, Arlene (Main) Martin, previously deceased and MaryJane (Main) Beach.

After high school, Frank joined the United States Air Force where he dedicated 22 years of proud service to his country. He served in Vietnam and other duty assignments during the Cold War era. After retiring from the Air Force, his commitment to love of his country led him to serve an additional 20 years of civil service in our military. During his years of service, he was awarded the US Air Force Meritorious Service and Commendation medals.

Retirement led him to enjoying time with his children, Susan and husband Scott Fergerson, (deceased), Mark and his wife Dawn, Timothy and his wife Marie, Michelle and her husband John Chappell. Frank was an extremely proud grandpa of 9 grandchildren. Sheelah, Mark II, Jason, Nicole, Charles II, Shane, William, Jordan, Rebecca and a great grandpa of 15 great grandchildren and an uncle to several nieces and nephews.

Throughout his life, Frank was always involved in the local youth sports programs coaching and mentoring his sons and others. Gardening, cooking, drag racing, listening to classic country and western music and being an AVID fan of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and University of Florida Gators were some of his passions.

Service for Frank will be Saturday, October 23rd at Florida Memorial Gardens, 5950 US 1, Rockledge, Fl., 32955. Service begins at 2pm. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Tunnels 2 Towers Foundation or any military related foundation of your choice.
