Henry L. Burns

Henry L Burns Jr, 89 passed away July 30, 2021 in West Palm Beach, FL. He was the widower of Betty E Burns. They shared 53 years of marriage. Aberdeen, MD, he was the son of Henry L Burns Sr and Anna Burns. He attended Aberdeen High school and graduated 1951. He was employed at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Aberdeen MD and work as a Boat Captain, Civil Servant.

He enjoyed tinkering in the garage making furniture, wood carving, and participating in craft fairs. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather.

He is survived by his three children; John D Burns and his spouse Teresa Burns; Tina Blasie and her spouse Scott Blasie and Lisa Hofstetter. Grandchildren, Corey Burns his spouse Melissa Burns; Melissa Ogle her spouse Justin Ogle; Zachary Hofstetter his spouse Brittney Hofstetter; Joshua Hofstetter and his spouse Tiffany Hofstetter; Jakob Hofstetter, great grandchildren Colton Burns, Olivia Hofstetter and Jackson Hofstetter. His sister, Louanne Ehlers, her daughters Debra Ehlers and Marianna Eberle. Sandy Ayers and her sons Norman Daugherty and Bill Daugherty. He was preceded in death by his brother's Charles Burns and Mike Burns.

A private family funeral service was held Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at Florida Memorial Gardens, Rockledge, FL. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org.
