

Jack was born in Martins Ferry, OH on February 28, 1922. He came to Brevard County in 1958 and worked as a transport coordinator before retiring from NASA. He also served our country in World War II, Army Air Corps, and 880th Engineering Squadron as a member of the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his wife, Charlotte Rothermund Cecil; son, Jack B. Cecil Jr. and daughter–in–law, Teresa Cecil of West Palm Beach,FL; daughter, Carol Lagace and son-in-law, Gerard Lagace of Asheville, NC; Granddaughter, Brooke Higgins and her fiancé, Matthew Rogers of Melbourne, FL; grandsons, Jack Anthony Cecil and Jonathan Cecil of West Palm Beach, FL; and great-grandson, Dylan Rogers.
The family wishes to recognize the loving care of his caregivers, Charlene Tapio and Deborah McDonald.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Florida Memorial Funeral Home, Rockledge, FL.
