He was the son of Jack and Betty Doyle.
James was preceded in death by two brothers, Jack, Jr. and Edward Doyle.
He leaves behind a son, Patrick and grandson, Shane.
Jim spent his life on the water and served in the US Navy, serving on the U.S.S. Ashland during the Korean War from 1953 to 1961. He had many interests and many friends.
“Drink a beer, shed a tear. Jimmy Doyle is no longer here.”
In lieu of flowers, donations in Jimmy’s name made to either St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or another charity of choice would be greatly appreciated.
A service of committal will be held at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery at a date and time to be determined.
