Jane S. Terry

Jane S. Terry, 88, of Rockledge, FL passed into the presence of her Lord and Savior on January 22, 2014. She is survived by her two daughters, Jan Anderson and Marsha Roberson and their husbands, Bob and Lewis, six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and her brother Whit and his wife Bobbie. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy L. Terry, in 1986 after 39 years of marriage and her sister Bettye.

Jane retired from the Brevard County School System after 26 years as a secretary at Clearlake Middle School, Cocoa High School, and finally as secretary to the School Board. She is a charter member at Rockledge United Methodist Church.

Jane will always be remembered for her servant’s heart and her passion for family and community. She lived life to the very fullest, eager to take on new adventures well into her 80s. Her sense of humor brought smiles and laughter to friends and strangers alike.

A Celebration Service will be held at Rockledge United Methodist Church, 1935 S. Fiske Blvd, Rockledge, FL, on Saturday, January 25, 2014 at 10:30am. A reception will follow in the Fellowship Hall at 11:30. Gravesite Ceremony will be in Auburndale, FL at 3:30.
