Kathleen Elizabeth Humbert

Kathleen “Kathy” Elizabeth Humbert was a loving mother, sister, grandmother and friend. She left this world peacefully on August 31, 2021 at the age of 70 after a short battle with Covid-19 in her hometown of Melbourne, Fl.

She was born to Hazel & Ralph Mays on March 8th, 1951 near Chicago Illinois. In 1970 she was married and later had 3 beautiful girls: Stacey, Suzanne and Connie. In 1979 the family moved to Florida where she would spend the rest of her years. She absolutely loved living by the beach even though she was allergic to palm trees. Kathy was an artist at heart and had a love for books, movies and chocolate. Her favorite thing was to tell you about the last book she read or movie she watched. She left a note upon her passing, that death is nothing but the next great adventure. We are all so blessed to have had Kathy in our lives. She is loved, she is missed, she is now on her greatest adventure.

Kathy is predeceased by her parents Ralph and Hazel Mays and her brother William Mays. Kathy is survived by her three daughters Stacey (Phil) Hankerson, Suzanne (Jose) Cora, Connie (Chris) Humbert; Her siblings Barbera (Ted) Jakubanis, Dee (Pat) Touhy; Her grandchildren Kayla Hankerson, Jace Cora, Marissa Hankerson, Evan Cora and Morgan Adams; and her beloved dog Bella.
