

Lisa Rose Dwyer, 29, formerly of Melbourne, passed away suddenly on Friday, September 17, 2010 at her home in Jacksonville Beach. Lisa Rose was the beloved daughter of Kum Sun (Kim) Dwyer Yu and Charles J. Dwyer. Born on August 28, 1981 in Alexandria, Virginia, Lisa came to Brevard County in 1986 from Rhein Mein Air Force Base, West Germany. Lisa grew up in Melbourne and attended local schools. She was a 2000 graduate of Melbourne Central Catholic High School. She continued her education at Florida State University where she earned a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing in 2004. Lisa then ventured on to England where she earned a Master's Degree in International Marketing Management 2006 from the University of Surrey in the County of Guildford in Southeast England. At the time of her death, Lisa was employed at Acosta Sales and Marketing in Jacksonville. While in high school and college, Lisa was employed part-time at Charlie & Jakes in Suntree. Lisa was a fan of the Kentucky Wildcats and Cincinnati Reds. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family and many friends. Lisa also loved dogs - collecting figurines and caring for her puppies. She will be remembered for her delightful sense of humor, infectious laugh and bubbly personality. Besides her parents, Lisa is survived by relatives in South Korea, the Philippines, California, Kentucky, South Carolina, and Ohio. She also leaves behind an army of friends worldwide. A memorial service will be held at Florida Memorial Funeral Home on Saturday, September 25, 2010 at 11 a.m. Burial at Florida Memorial Gardens.
