

Louise Emily Hurdle, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to many, passed away in Melbourne, Florida on Saturday, August 2, 2025 at the age of 89. She was a hardworking farm girl and yet an elegant lady until the very end.
Louise was born and raised in Big Rapids, Michigan and moved to the Space Coast with her young family in 1961. Her passion was as a homemaker while her children were young, then worked in the Brevard County schools and out at Kennedy Space Center with Lockheed Martin supporting the Shuttle Program until retirement in 1998.
Louise enjoyed crafting, sewing and was a fervent fan of all her children’s and grandchildren’s endeavors and could always be heard saying, ‘Give it everything you’ve got!’ Louise and her husband, Clint, were inseparable and gave generously of themselves to family and friends. She was a member of Northside Presbyterian Church. She was a tireless worker, a quiet and gracious hostess, thoughtful to all, and will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Clinton E. Hurdle, three children Clinton M. Hurdle (Karla), Bobbi Jo Martello (Dino), and Robin H. Ferguson (Neil). Also survived by grandchildren, Ashley Hurdle Delgado (Richard), James Ryne Ferguson, Clinton Reid Ferguson (Alexa), Avery Leigh Ferguson, Samantha Jo Martello, Brady Dean Martello, Madison Riley Hurdle, Christian Merrick Hurdle, and great-grand daughter Jordan Louise Ferguson. Also survived by her brother Ralph Johnson and sister Helen Aaron (Jack).
A private, family-only memorial service will be held in her memory.
