

He attended Rockledge High School and was a long-time resident of Cocoa, Florida. Mark worked in the Tortoise Island community as a skilled and well-respected Maintenance Supervisor for more than 22 years. He also served many years as an Usher at the East Coast Christian Center church in Merritt Island.
Mark was a man like no other, a true diamond in the rough. He lived life to the max and experienced very few dull moments. Mark found peace at the water and loved to be with nature. Most of all, he loved nothing more than his family.
He is survived by his mother, Donna Ross; brothers, Bob Cox, Jeff Ross (Chloe), David Ross (Shelly); children, Christopher Norris (Alyssa), Ryan Ross (Crystal), Shayne Ross and Nicole Groseclose; six grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; best friends, Connie Ross (mother of Ryan and Shayne), Keith Alley (Rudy), James Zavitsanos AKA Dr. Z (Stephanie), Terry Gay and Tortoise Island family Leslie Pankey, Debbie Klebsch, Donna Crow, Mike Reschke (Beth), Dave Bruner and Kurt Ferenger. Mark was predeceased by his best fur-friend, Bailey.
A visitation for Mark will be held Saturday, November 4, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at Life Event Center at Florida Memorial, 5950 South US Highway 1, Rockledge, Florida, followed by a memorial service at 12:30 PM. Celebration of Life will then take place at 727 Loggerhead Island Dr, Satellite Beach, (Tortoise Island Club House).
