It feel like yesterday I gave you a hug and said," see you next time Mamaw." Im so sad that you're gone, and I wish I could give you one last hug. Everyday I think about how amazing you are, and what an amazing grandmother you were. I love you Mamaw ??

Dear Steve and Family, Debby's shining light will live on forever in your hearts and will help guide you all until you meet her again.  Her love for her Lord was evident in all she did in life.  We will miss her dearly as she was the "Center" of our Class of 71'.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you, Shelly and Cal Moser (Merritt Island, FL)

I was shocked and so saddened to hear of Debby's sudden passing. She was the whole heart and soul of our class, and kept so many of us together thru the years. It's not fair. We are losing too many of the best ones. While we feel cheated, I digress. Many thoughts and hugs go out to you Steve, the kids, and all of our friends. Thinking of you...

While our lives here on earth are a mere "stopover" on the way to our eternal home with God, we tend to become quite attached to those that we come to know.
Often times we forget to be a friend and give a call, say a prayer, or give a much needed hug to one we care about.
Debby was one that seemed to know what to say at the right times, and cause others to feel special.

To my dear friend Debby, while I miss you I know with certainty where you are. I also know I will see you again. I celebrate your life, all the great memories. I know you well hear "Well done good and faithful servant" You loved God and you loved people. Oh the laughs we had and the prayers we shared. Your love for Steve, your sons and your granddaughters and family was so apparent. So when I think of you I will remember all the adventures Pat and I had with you, your Maxine jokes, your weather reports, messaging when the world was sleeping. There is no way to put into words the impact that Debby had on all who were blessed to know her--such love and true concern for each of us, never too busy to listen, and give her love and encouragemnet.  She was a bright light shining for the Lord that she loved and I know that He was so pleased with the way she allowed Him to touch SO many through her. To Steve and all her family I pray for that peace from the Lord that passes all our understanding, may you feel his arms of love holding you close during this most difficult time.  I will miss her always.

Steve and family, there are no words that I could offer to ease the pain.  I do offer my prayers that you find comfort in peace in God's loving embrace during this most difficult time.  Debby was a Saint among us.  All that knew her, loved her.  We have a void now, that only she could fill.  Our rock.  Our glue.  Our Memory maker!  She gave so much, and asked for so little.  We will miss her, her smile, her words of calm and wisdom, her caring and loving spirit.  There will never be another Debby!  I feel honored to have called her my friend!

May God's Love and Peace bring comfort to the entire family of Debby.  We will miss you very much, sorry we can't make the trip to Florida. I will be able to be there on Monday, so I can say goodbye and be with all her family and friends.  I am so proud to have been her friend and everything has changed for me since her passing. Debby loved her family and friends so much - she showed that every single day. I believe she will be with us and I know this will be a celebration of her life. To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

 Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
 Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
 That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
 God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

 It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.

 God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not  be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

A lady who touched so many with just words of wisdom, every morning, I miss her so deeply, I always looked forward to the morning to see her loving thoughts. I send my prayers to all who dealing with this sudden loss. Hugs to all the family...

Debby Debby Debby, I keep going over in my mind...how could this be you? How could the Universe need you more than we need you here on Earth? Who will we go to with a problem or who will post the best and happiest posts on Facebook ever? Who will keep our secrets? How will our hearts ever mend. You leave a village all wondering how to deal with you being gone. The best Earth Angel...now God's Angel. No matter how long, there will be a hole in my heart that you filled with your smiles and friendship and love and damn...all that help with the computer that you gave to me, and helping me find something! Who will step up and tackle the reunions? Who will do all of the things that you did, the way you did them? I am sad, I am mad, because of all the peeps in the whole world, they took you from us! I know that you are finally out of pain, that you can breathe, that your bad days are over, and for that I am so happy. But we love you and we miss you already. My only hope is that someday, we will meet up again, our little village of friends and family. Well, I may not go to where you go, but if you can hear any of our prayers, come by and visit me sometime. I will know that it is you, we just had that connection. The funny thing is this; all of us think that we were the only one with that connection with you! Ha! Ha! You were able to stretch yourself very thin girlfriend.  Steve and the girls will need a lot from you right away, help them with their sorrow, as there are no words from us that can ease their pain. Sail on Debby to wonderful places with your Universe village that were waiting for you. Help us mere mortals that you left behind on Earth, we will need your guidance and look to the stars for answers. They broke the mold when they made you Debby, I have never known a person so sweet and smart and just a happy person who felt so blessed for her life. I bow to you, and I will be looking for you to come by occasionally to check in on me. Tears are now flowing, but before I end, you have to know this, I love you my warrior!

Debby glorified her Heavenly Father with a "gatherer" ministry. When Jesus wept on a hillside outside of Jerusalem, He said, "Jerusalem, Jerusalem, how I longed to gather you like a hen gathers her chicks, but you would not have it". Many lives have been re-connected, and memories refreshed because of her efforts - her life was the kind of gift that keeps on giving, and I pray her family is comforted and  enriched by her legacy of gathering and giving.

In life the most amazing feeling we experience is love.  We are born into love and we depart with love.  The simple explanation for our existence is truly love.  May you fill your heart every day with love as you morn Debby's passing.

You will be missed by all, and I will miss you too.  I know you are dancing & singing with our Lord. I will miss all your cheerful posts. RIP
