Mary was born in Buckingham County, Virginia on February 16, 1937, one of the seventeen children of Willie Samuel Amos and Melissa Carroll Amos.
Mary moved to Brevard County Florida in the early 60’s where she married Robert Headley and gave birth to her son William Raymond Headley.
She died in Merritt Island, Florida on October 9, 2014 surrounded by her loving family.
She is survived by her son William Headley, sister Shirley A. Tucker, and brothers John Amos of Scottsville, Virginia; Robert Amos of Cocoa, Florida; Garland Ray Amos of Laurel, Mississippi and many Nieces and Nephews.
Services will be at Florida Memorial in Rockledge, Florida at the Life Event Center.
Visitation is Saturday October 18, 2014 from 2:00PM to 3:00PM with services at 3:00PM.
