Matthew loved Disney World and anything that represented Walt Disney.
Matthew is survived by his mother- Beverly (Zachar) Falcone, sister- Kimberly (Falcone) Coluccio, wife-Geisha (Ubau) Falcone, sons-Charlie and Kenny Falcone.
Matthew moved to Brevard County in 2003 from New York. He was determined to start a new life in Brevard County so he decided to buy a condominium as he settled into the area. Matthew’s plan was to go on numerous job interviews until he would finally get his dream job of being a school teacher in Brevard County. Matthew’s next motivation was to meet the “love of his life” in Brevard County. He accomplished this too. He eventually bought a home to share with his soul mate. Matthew knew he wanted a family with children of his own. All of Matthew’s dreams came true and he felt that he was truly happy.
Matthew was ahead of his times in his determination and willingness to live life to the fullest. Matthew had a soft spot for people and wanted to be everyone’s friend.
When Matthew met Geisha Ubau (Falcone) it was love at first sight. He fell in love with her and respected and honored Geisha’s traditional wishes in asking her parents for her hand in marriage. Matthew flew to NY to ask Geisha’s family to become part of their family. Geisha’s family embraced him and welcomed him as a part of the family. Geisha’s family has also had a loss with Matthew’s passing. They truly loved him as their son.
Matthew had a love for life. He was always smiling and was always eager to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Matthew was passionate about teaching and his students. He would refer to his students as “my kids.” Matthew gave 110% of himself to everyone and never asked for anything in return. Matthew would like to be remembered as someone who embraced the joy of being alive. He would stop and listen to the sound of the birds, smell of beautiful flowers, the sun rising and setting, the ocean and anything that meant bringing smiles to all.
