Maureen “Mo” Connors passed away at her home in Rockledge, to be with our Lord, Wednesday, January 30, 2013 from a battle with cancer. She was born in Lowell, Mass and retired from Ratheon in 1994.
Maureen was a generous, loving person, and family meant the world to her. She loved to travel to her beloved Ireland with friends. Being with family was her favorite past time and this included her extended family.
Mo was preceded in death by her husband, James Connors, mother and father, John and Margaret McGuire; and brothers, John and Michael McGuire. She is survived by her daughters, MaryJane (Kyle) Cooper, Peggy, and Norren Connors, and Kym (Kevin) McGuire; brother, William (Nancy) McGuire; sister-in-law, Joyce McGuire; grandchildren, Samantha and Max Swayze; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
A visitation will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church on Friday, February 1, 2013 from 10:30am until 11:30am, followed by a funeral mass at 11:30am. Interment will follow at Florida Memorial Gardens. Florida Memorial Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
