Merle W. Kifer

Palm Bay, FL - Merle W Kifer, 91,of Palm Bay passed away Friday, May 8 2015 at Bethesda on Turkey Creek Assisted Living. Born June 30, 1923, son of the late Walter Francis and Beatrice (carter) Kifer. He is also preceded in death by his wife Pauline B Kifer and twin sister Marlene E VanMeter and two brothers Howard Kifer and Ashby Kifer.

Mr Kifer was retired from Intersil as a security guard, Chief Auto Mechanic at Montgomery Wards, and Electrician of J & K Steal Mill in Pennsylvania. He was a member of St Joseph’s Church in Palm Bay.

Survived by two daughters Josephine (James) Hinchman of Palm Bay, FL and Beatrice (James) Hibbard of Tennessee. He had four grandchildren Jason and Jessica Hinchman and Laura Leon and Craig Hibbard and five great-grandchildren Veronica, Venessa Leon, Nina Hibbard, Jaxon and Hailey Hinchman all of Palm Bay.

Calling hours will be held at Florida Memorial Gardens 5950 S. US Highway 1, Rockledge, Fl 32925 Thursday, May 14 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM with services Friday, May 15 at 11:00 AM.
