Uncle Mikey was preceded in death by his beloved Carmela, the love of his life. He was also preceded in death by his sisters, Millie (Al) Lupo and Louise Panaro, and brother, Angelo Pirozzi. He is survived by his brothers, Junior (Joyce) Pirozzi and Paul (Emily) Pirozzi, and sister, Genevieve Marabella; nieces Gina (Ken) Rushing, Jennifer Serrano, Jill (John) Panaro; nephew, Gino (Theresa) Panaro and many other extended family members including Joy (his precious pup). Mikey and Carmela had an especially close relationship with their niece, Gina, and that continued until his passing.
Uncle Mikey was born in Brooklyn, NY, and worked as a manager at Kabat Textile for 35+ years. He loved his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and would listen to his favorite Christian radio station Z88.3 each morning as he ate his 14 pieces of toast and two cups of coffee. In addition, he enjoyed old movies (TCM, GRIT, etc.) and could recite facts about films, actors, and actresses as if he were the host at a Hollywood awards show. He was generous to his family and assisted many charities that were dear to him. He enjoyed the Suntree community and his daily walk with Joy.
A special thank you to Assisting Hands Home Care (Merlande “Jesus”, Yvette, and Elaine) and Health First Hospice for their compassion, kindness, and support.
